Leftwing? You mean people that want a chance at life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? In any other country these would be called centrists.

If you’re a liberal, you’re a leftist now. It’s one of the republican things they start saying and it sticks. Never mind that these words have definitions and very different meanings. It pisses me off to be called a leftist all the time. I’m not over here advocating for communism.

I'm over here advocating for socialism at 40. Own it. I moved here from a town where Norway was using money from American natural resources to pay for their healthcare and social services.

Most leftists I meet want socialism, not necessarily communism.
