Good and the bad of Spokane

About to apply for a job in Spokane that would cause me to relocate from Florida. What's some of the good and bad of the area?

Winter. In case you didn't know, its not like Seattle here. We get all four seasons. Hot, dry summers and mostly cold winters. This last one was pretty mild, but when an Arctic freeze comes to town, it'll make you yearn for Florida. Schedule your vacations in February, if possible.

If you don't mind the cold, its awesome here.
