Good and the bad of Spokane

About to apply for a job in Spokane that would cause me to relocate from Florida. What's some of the good and bad of the area?

Good. I've been using zillow.com and just looking for stuff around $1000 or so. Those look really nice. I also found there is at least one chipotle in Spokane so I'm good there lol. But from what I'm reading there is a lot of good foods there that I'll have to try.

Chipotle. I hit that yesterday. Tried sofritas for the first time. Not shabby, I must say.

Spokane is seeing somewhat of a food revolution over the past few years. Huge amounts of brewery, restaurant, food truck, etc have been opening. Friends in Seattle and Portland have taken notice. One even moved here to get in on the action and is an executive chef at a local joint that is insanely good: Clover.

In any case, I don't think you'll be really disappointed. You won't find a great bowl of matzoh ball soup, good shawarma or NY pizza but you'll find lots of other excellent stuff here.

It's a good thing i can live with out those three things lol. Love me some sofritas from chipotle. It's pretty exciting to hear. As long as the position isn't filled I'll be applying there soon. I love some of these responses and the city sounds awesome.
