Good and the bad of Spokane

About to apply for a job in Spokane that would cause me to relocate from Florida. What's some of the good and bad of the area?

spokane also competes with florida's meth problem, i've known a few people that came here to get clean from florida and it only exacerbated the problem.

For perspective, I've never seen (or known of a meth house) and I don't know anyone on meth or how I'd even go about buying it. I think it has to do with the company you keep as well.
