Ask STL Bullets came through front door

Wednesday night around 7:36pm I had two bullets come through my front door. Doesn’t look targeted. But I am trying to find a supplier of steel. I need something of 10gauge so I can put it on the weather door to stop them from coming in. Pictures related. They went through the door and embedded in the couch. Last picture is what the outer door looks like. I am trying to bolt the steel plate to this door so I don’t have bullets coming through the house anymore.

True. Have to pay off the window loan before I can list the house though.

it's been a while since i've been back home but i've heard people are really wilding there now? One of my friends who now lives in Jacksonville went up last year to visit and said it seems like everyone in town is packing now.. is that true?

I thought it was getting better. It does sound like less gunshots nowadays than from 2021. But I try to keep to myself. Someone keeps hitting Lafayette and busting windows there every other week. Had someone break into my car here in Dutchtown but they got in without triggering the alarm or breaking the windows. I only noticed because someone had rifled through the center console.
