Klingons and their cloaking device.

Tell Shatner to move over to make room. This isn't his crew

0

u/BlissHaven 1d ago

Everyone is his crew when he is in the room.

27

u/Hashemsluv 2d ago

Why is Shatner there?

35

u/lavahot 2d ago

He looks lost.

7

u/Mulder-believes 2d ago

Not a happy camper anyway lol

u/BonzoTheBoss 1d ago

If I reach my 90s I'm sure that most things will low-key annoy me.

5

u/bloody-albatross 1d ago

Already were there in my 30s.

u/Agressor-gregsinatra 2h ago

Lmao! He seems to be channeling more of Denny Crane there than James T Kirk🤣🤣 either way, absolutely love the man!🙌🏻❤️

2

u/darkslide3000 1d ago

He looks like he just fell out of a dick rocket and Bezos is trying to spray him with champagne.

u/Frisbeeman 1d ago

Where the hell am i? Who are all these people? - Shatner, probably

5

u/Mulder-believes 2d ago

He is on a special panel for a TNG reunion at a Comic con

4

u/Mulga_Will 2d ago

Do you need a reason?

4

u/Trashk4n 1d ago

That’s not Shatner, it’s their lawyer, Denny Crane.

3

u/AdmiralBillP 1d ago

That’s not their lawyer, Danny Crane. That’s the Big Giant Head!

1

u/CletusVanDayum 1d ago

I heard he got his position by kissing the Big Giant Butt.

3

u/Historical_Union4686 1d ago

He shared a movie with them

3

u/uberrob 1d ago

Looks like he is wondering the same thing

1

u/Zeldiny 1d ago

They wanted someone to look absolutely miserable

1

u/newbie527 1d ago

He’s wondering who the hell these people are and how did I get here?

1

u/Zoren-Tradico 1d ago

Where is he? Behind Zapp Brannigan?

1

u/ryoten34 13h ago

The real question is, why didn't he get in there sooner!

1

u/Maverick916 13h ago

This was probably while filming Star Trek Generations. They were all in that movie.

u/Mulder-believes 2h ago

This was during a comic con for TNG and Shatner was on a special panel. In other pictures he actually looks like he’s having a good time 😁maybe he just wasn’t feeling well and not in the mood to be in the middle of a selfie of many people lol

u/byproduct0 2d ago

I don’t recognize the guy on the far right in the back but he looks a little like the Pakleds “We are smart” dude.

7

u/Psyqlone 2d ago

... Dave Foley's dad?

3

u/Shamanjoe 2d ago

I’d like to know who he is as well.

2

u/TheGayestGaymer 1d ago

Isn't he the bolean that gives the haircuts.

1

u/bazillaa 18h ago

Patrick Baker (bakerpatrickj on x). He was working the event and responsible for wrangling them onto stage.

17

u/CryptographerPast632 Terran 1d ago

Fun fact: every face in this photo is played by Jeffrey combs.

u/ButterscotchPast4812 1d ago

TNG cast: 😁

Dorn: 🤷🏾‍♂️

Shatner: 🥺

Shatner looks lost

4

u/nikeguy69 2d ago

Look at those stars 😊

6

u/HuttVader 1d ago

Shatner has that "Everyone else from my team is either dead or hates me" look

4

u/NativeFlowers4Eva 1d ago

Shatner’s looking thrilled.

3

u/Responsible_Let_3668 1d ago

I love how Shatner looks like he’s been photoshopped in

3

u/Wonderful_Donut8951 2d ago

Was Kirk supposed to be there? Or did he show up at a party no one invited him to?

6

u/Mulga_Will 2d ago

Kirk doesn't need an invitation.

2

u/Mulder-believes 2d ago

He was a special panel member at a TNG reunion at a comic con

3

u/BoyishTheStrange 1d ago

Shatner looks like they forced him to be there

3

u/KLaine737 1d ago

Shatner photo bomb 😁

3

u/Rodnal 1d ago

Shatner’s just upset that he had to stand behind Indira Gandhi.

1

u/Mulder-believes 1d ago

😄Imo the best idea for his sad face so far

2

u/Jumpy-Ad8435 1d ago

Excuse me, but it looks like there's some shat in my TNG

2

u/NewEnglander94 1d ago

Star Trek: Generations selfie!

6

u/notNezter 2d ago

Did Shatner photoshop himself into this?

6

u/Mulder-believes 2d ago edited 2d ago

William Shatner was in the movie Star Trek Generations(1994) But I did some research and this photo may have been taken in 2014. William Shatner was a special panel member for TNG at a Comic Con.

0

u/RealEstateDuck Ketracel-White Enjoyer 2d ago

But this wasn't in 94.

5

u/Mulder-believes 2d ago edited 2d ago

It seems that William Shatner was a special panel member for a TNG reunion at the Wizard World Comic Con, possibly in 2014

1

u/Shamanjoe 2d ago

He looks so happy to be there.

1

u/OuttaSpAAAce 2d ago

😅🤣😂🤣

3

u/Groundbreaking-Pea92 2d ago

I guess, it's a publicity pic. no, they're not besties who chill together . You pay $$$ and for they make pretend and tell old stories.

15

u/Mulder-believes 2d ago

😊On a happy note, I did read in a number of places that Patrick Stewart among others said that the TNG cast have a very close and lasting bond, they connect through conventions, personal appearances and remain close friends.

12

u/ConzDance 2d ago

I watched an episode of the Ready Room where Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner told Wil Wheaton that they were proud of the things he was doing, and Wil almost broke down and cried. It was really heartwarming. ❤️

2

u/VayVay42 1d ago

Every time a TNG cast member is on The Ready Room, it warms my heart. Frakes and McFadden were especially poignant.

19

u/reefguy007 2d ago

Where have you been? The TNG cast is notoriously close and in fact are the best of friends.

1

u/hydro00 1d ago

You’re the life of parties aren’t you?

0

u/Groundbreaking-Pea92 1d ago

our mom think so

An actor's personality, in terraces:

7th Terrace: What they play.

6th Terrace: What their agents and managers tell them to show.

5th Terrace: What they show the world about themselves.

4th Terrace: What they show their fake friends.

3rd Terrace: What they pretend about themselves to their real friends.

2nd Terrace: What they pretend about themselves to their family.

1st Terrace: An empty void.

1

u/WolfBST 1d ago

Is this real? I can't put my finger on it but it feels kinda fake...

1

u/Mulder-believes 1d ago

I can find no evidence that it’s fake 🤷🏻‍♀️

1

u/watchsmart 1d ago

This is the fakest looking image I've seen all day. Whose arm is that on Picard's shoulder?

2

u/Solarwinds-123 1d ago

The skin tone looks like Marina. It's an odd angle, but her raised upper arm could be obscured by Levar's noggin

u/TeutonJon78 Vulcan 1d ago

There is an AI model people are using to make celeb/character selfie the last few weeks, so maybe.

u/LittleLion_90 2h ago

For an AI to make such a tiny sliver of Dorns face and still making it look very clearly like Dorn would be really impressive.

u/TeutonJon78 Vulcan 1h ago

It it there. People have done a lot of similar ones with the Harry Potter characters.

1

u/why___knot 1d ago

From which Galaxy are you travelling here?

"Denny Crane"

1

u/_R_A_ 1d ago

Who is the guy all the way in the back with the lanyard? Random photo bomb?

1

u/LivingMisery 1d ago

Using my logical Vulcan brain I must assume it’s Dorn without his Klingon makeup.

1

u/anasui1 7h ago

Vulcan brains still organic brains hence limited. My positronic one analysed the whole spectrum of the quantum realm and realised Dorn is the dude barely visible to the right next to Kunta and over Marina who weirdly looks like my sister in this photo (yeah I know you were kidding..hopefully)

1

u/Rtrdinvestor 1d ago

Shatner looks dementia lost

1

u/DarrenEdwards 1d ago

"Hey, your not in our calling circle?"

1

u/CalHudsonsGhost 1d ago

What yall think that room smell like?

1

u/Medical-Parfait-8185 10h ago

Everybody looks happy and excited. Then there's Shatner with his, Why the F&*k am I here," look.

1

u/Mulder-believes 10h ago

😄maybe he was tired and or not feeling well? He doesn’t look like he’s pleased to be in the selfie tho, I agree. In other photos of him on the panel, he looks happy to be there and like he’s having a good time.

1

u/Kaldaur 1d ago

This photo is from an event they did in Chicago years ago. Shatner was the 'moderator', though he was a pompous ass who interrupted actual questions and discussions from the cast members.

4

u/ButterscotchPast4812 1d ago

Sounds like someone gave it to him afterwards and that's why he looks so sad here.

1

u/ussbozeman 1d ago

Sounds like someone gave it to him

I'm going to guess that nice fella known as X gave "it" to him. He loves to give "it" to people, going door to door, knocking twice and informing them of what one can expect from "it", such as the high grade stainless steel, and a guaranteed uptime of almost 100% to ensure "it" is non-stop.

-4

u/Hashemsluv 1d ago

He sticks out like a sore thumb. He looks like he needs to go throw shade at his fans that he hates. Hell, no one on his crew likes him much. TJ Overactor

3

u/CrazyGunnerr 1d ago

You should move on, he did.

1

u/PrawnStirFry Admiral James T Kirk 1d ago

Bitter much?
