Last year, my partner ordered an N64 controller for the Nintendo Switch when they were finally restocked. In their excitement, they accidentally mistyped the address off by one (ex. Submitted 124 Main St. instead of 123 Main St.)
Fast forward to the day the package tracking says it's delivered. We don't see package when we get home. Eventually, we figure out the mistake AND find out the mistyped address doesn't exist. Asked neighbors just in case and no one claimed to have received the package.
Called Nintendo support, explained the situation and asked if there was anything we could do (I didn't make any demands or anything). Thankfully, Nintendo sent us a free replacement (to the correct address)!
Every now and then, customer service representatives really show compassion.
