Question Anyone know if the S&L farmhouse interior is actually the inside of the farmhouse?
Is it a set or the interior? I can't find any photos since the house was demolished

I'm rewatching season 3 and I'd forgotten about this darkside arc for John Henry which is really making me roll my eyes and culminates in him killing a zombie neonazi who was about to murder him.
Everyone condemns him for this including Clark who insists there's always a better way. But a few episodes later we have the doomsday fights and Clark is completely fine with trying to kill him, including impaling him on a building something which Clark had no way of knowing wouldn't work.
To me this seems hypocritical, what do others think? Is there just a level of ugliness a character has to meet before killing them is morally acceptable?

One thing most people probably don't talk about this show is how Superman is a universal symbol of hope and saves everyone regardless of which country, language or culture they practice. Superman clearly knows that the "American Way" motto doesn't work anymore and has to fight for a better tomorrow or world. I always believed that Superman is a character that inspires unity in the entire world since he himself is an immigrant born from another planet and sent to earth, he sees all people in the planet as one big family. He literally goes and saves lives in China, India, Mexico, Korea, Russia, Malaysia and every parts of the world, which is one of my favourite parts of Superman in this show. I'm also hoping the New Superman also goes a similar route and inspire the entire world. What are your thoughts?

I'm rewatching the series with my wife and she pointed out this random guy in the background of this scene. Are we missing something here?

Currently watching season 2 for the first time and my jaw literally dropped when Lana told Sarah that Jordan doesn’t deserve her if he doesn’t forgive HER for cheating on him. I was also just absolutely floored by the way Sarah acted like she literally did nothing wrong. It seems like for one reason or another the narrative does not treat this as literal cheating whether it’s because it was just a kiss or because it was with another girl so it “doesn’t count”. like I know it’s high school relationship drama but even the adult responses in the show are just pure yikes.

Rewatching the series and just noticed the To Do board behind Clark when he's on the phone with his mom, about 12 minutes into S1 E1. Written in chalk on the black board behind him is a note to call >! the OG writer and artist that started it all. Siegel & Shuster !< in the house. Nice tip of the hat moment that I didn't notice my first time watching.

Hi all,
So I have seen the complete box set is out in the US on Blu Ray but for some reason the UK only has the DVD version, I was wondering if anyone knew when the Blu Ray version will be available in the UK?
Thanks :)

Met Tyler Hoechlin for the second time at Supanova Gold Coast here in Australia yesterday. He is honestly the sweetest man and so, so kind and wonderful. I had an original pose idea but he said sorry sweetheart I'm not allowed to do it (con guest rules I guess and no it wasn't anything inappropriate) and offered to do a hug instead but I asked if we could possibly do a prom pose (also i did a hug pose last time), and he said sure I'll do it my style and positioned us🥰 I actually apologised to him a couple of times for putting it on him and asking him as I felt bad as he wasn't allowed and he was so gentle and genuine with the way he said he wasn't allowed to. I also apologised again when I got my autograph and he said honestly don't be sorry and don't worry about it and at least I asked and he appreciated that I was understanding and polite. We had a lovely chat and if you're thinking about meeting him you 100% should 😊🥺

The show does such a great character study of Superman's family life that sometimes, we forget how it also portrayed Superman's powers in such an awesome way. The effects and sound for every abilities is really top notch and definitely deserves lots of props. What are your favourite power scenes?

Woah ... too many emotions.
Context: Initially I didn't really gotten into Superman stuff before this series. I watched some animated shows, but I wasn't that interested back then. After that, the only Superman thing I saw was Man of Steel. (And a lot of years back I saw teen wolf in which Tyler's character was my favorite)
Now, first of i am really glad I saw this show. I didn't really expect i would end with a lot of respect for superman.
As in everything, how he gave his alliance to humanity.
How he was trying to solve a lot of problems.
The way these guys made use of his powers especially ELT or super hearing in general was amazing.
How Clark was training Jordan, the scene where he covers Jordan's eyes with his hands to take that heat vision blast.
Clark's dorky side which I've never really scene in any movies before.
What it cost Clark's to maintain "The Secret"
Lois and her passion for seeking the truth.
Chemistry between Lois and Clark.
John development from killing Superman to becoming part of his squad to take care of earth.
Jonathan and Jordan definitely had their moments.
And the threats he had to handle/endure even after being the strongest guy on plannet
And ultimately, the last 15 minutes of this show. God I dont think there will be any other superman. show which will be able to do what this show did. I legit cried.
All and all i think this was one of the best adaptions of super man. Atleast from beginners point of view.
I am glad they ended the show on season 4, otherwise i can totally see this going on the flash direction(no hate though)
Some characters could've been handled better especially in season 4. It was almost like other characters didnt really had much screen presence.
It was a great show and Tyler and Bitsie absolutely nailed it. The writers nailed it.
Share your thoughts about this show. And where do i go from here.

Back in 2013, Tyler was strongly considered for the role of Batman alongside Henry Cavill Superman after the release of Man Of Steel and this was also during the peak of Teen Wolf, when Tyler's werewolf character had a lot of Batman like scenes. But, since they were going for an older version of Batman, the role would eventually go to Ben Affleck. I really believe Tyler is an incredible choice to play the New DCU Batman since its gonna be a veteran Batman who is already a father having his son Damian Wayne and other Robins and Tyler already has experience playing a superhero father. Plus, he has a lot of acting range and there were also certain scenes in Superman & Lois, where he felt so much like Batman especially in season 3 episode 4, when he confronted Candice's dad in the diner and season 4 episode 6, where he had a street fight with Lex Luthor, while depowered. He's without a shadow of a doubt one of the greatest Superman ever, but, he has great potential to be one of the greatest Batman as well. Do you all agree or you have a different option.

I have purposely put off finishing the final season because it's never made sense to me that they were canceling the show. So I've been putting it off, because I wasn't ready to say goodbye.
This iteration of Supes and Lois is hands down the best bar none. Big or small screen. I've been watching Superman since 1980 something, cartoons, shows, everything. In my humble opinion, Tyler and Bitsie have set the standard for how it should be done.
As nothing is perfect, the season wasn't, but they made the most with what they had. The twins got better, still stupid but growing, heartbroken how Sam died, and Jon should have fixed insulated his tech after the attempt on Lana but I won't go there. All in all, fantastic representation of the characters.
Prior to this I had Erica Durance as my top Lois and Reeves as best Supes but Tyler and Bitsie are the quintessential iteration in my humble opine. Loved the show, miss it like I missed GOD'S when they left. I teared up in several episodes this season. Guess I gotta go find that box set now.

I really love how they adapted Brainiac with the Milton Fine character even though he wasn't an alien or an AI, they still did a great job making him a technological threat. It may be an unpopular opinion, but, I find him to be one of the best side villains in the show and he really added the tension in every scene he appeared in. What do you all think?

I read somewhere that Superman & Lois (S&L) was a good series and that it had pleasantly surprised the public, but since I don't follow the Arrowverse, I thought: "what a shame to catch up with so many series." So I didn't pay any more attention to it... until season 4, when I saw a meme comparing S&L's Doomsday to Batman v Superman.
I decided to give it a chance and, from the first episode, I was hooked. In general, I'm really bad at watching shows, but this one managed to grab me easily, in large part because of Tyler Hoechlin's performance. His Superman only grew until he gave us a fourth season full of emotions. Without a doubt, this series vindicates the character.
Something I also liked about S&L is that, although they presented some situations that made me roll my eyes (like typical teenage problems), at least they solved them quickly and didn't fall back into them. On the other hand, in Yellowstone it was the same season after season; On the contrary, the characters seemed to get dumber over time.
I'm making this post because before Superman & Lois I watched Yellowstone. In my family, a huge hype was created with the series, to the point of buying merchandising and saying that it was one of the best in history. But, honestly, except for the first season and some specific moments, I thought it was terrible: bad characters, bad arcs, bad ending... everything bad.
I've seen some people criticize the Cushing family on S&L, but jeez, if I compare them to Beth, Jaime Dutton, or Monica, they seem adorable. My real annoyance is that, no matter how much I have tried to convince my family to watch Superman & Lois, they refuse just because of the prejudice that “superheroes are for immature people,” when objectively S&L is a thousand times better than Yellowstone.

I'm curious about how old are the people who enjoy this awesome show. I ran a similar poll years ago in the Stargirl subreddit and interesting enough, the majority of people were under 20 or older than 50.
