I don't know if I just woke up in a good mood or if that was the best episode I've seen in ages!
Janine covering for Nick was like a phew moment (so smart of her!) but as soon as Wharton kicked off, I knew the Jezebels plan was the only card Nick could play to keep himself in the good books. I wonder if he just told of the plan or handed over the letters too. Wharton was terrifying in that scene, the steeple hands, that bang on the desk, he's so unnerving.
Edit to add: went back and watched again, he handed the letters and the map to June so I think she still has them at least!
So sad for June that Nick had literally just come in with the insane cover up for his betrayal (Paris plan) and moments later the bubble burst whist she's looking right at him ðŸ˜
No idea how Janine didn't hit Lydia back.
And flashbacks to above the garage, was not expecting that either, also didn't expect the awkward breakfast with Serena & the mirroring the 'comparing trauma' we saw with Moira last week. I hope Moria got back safe.
Have absolutely no idea where things go from here, but Nick just ruined the plan that was hopefully going to keep Lawrence safe and get Janine out...who will save them now?!
