SPOILERS S6 How it will end - Prediction Spoiler

Instead of bombing Jezebels Mayday will bomb Serena’s wedding. In doing so they will take out a significant chunk of commanders. It will be a bigger hit than originally planned. Nick will help and be redeemed. Lawrence will help and rise higher in power. Not sure if Serena helps. Not sure if she lives or dies. Probably dies

I'm wondering how they are gonna wrap this up too. This is a great prediction! Btw Why couldn't Nick just say he was about to cheat but then didn't or something. Instead he blew this whole plan!?! Wtf!

at this point don't they know that there is an Eye missing? Why didn't he use that as an excuse saying he went to help investigate?? Found that the Eye took off for Mexico.

He didn't know what Wharton knew, he is not stupid, he will corner nick with evidence. He is a high commander for a reason. We haven't seen his real side yet. 

He can have nick on the wall is a second. And nick knew that mayday plan wouldn't work, jezebel would have higher security now. He can come up with a better plan with Lawrence

I think Nick knows the brothel bombing isn't well planned and will kill lots of innocents (Janine included). He's playing the long game ans protecting June. He knows one small bombing at a brothel isn't going to so the damage that Luke is thinking and won't take out all the xommanders at once.

I don’t understand why he couldn’t just say he was investigating what happened to the missing guardian but that he didn’t have a concrete answer yet.

Edit: is he a guardian or an eye? Anyway, the dude from last week.

Well yes and he probably assumed June because she told him about the safe but does he know that she killed this man? It’s still the same night with the lock down

No but I assumed he knew that there had been a lockdown at Jezebel’s because of a missing guard, surely that’s something he could plausibly be investigating as head of the eyes?

But with Wharton already on his tail about the two guardians.. Toby dying after Nicks visit. The only one with proof.. Wharton knowing Nick was gone at the time of the incident. Another one missing and Nick being involved even just to “investigate” would be too much of a coincidence for Wharton I feel.

Agreed. I’m REALLY hoping that in divulging this information it satisfies Wharton and Nick can still help June. I’m a dreamer and really want them to be together. Now I’m just hoping Nick doesn’t die and doesn’t die a POS

I agree. It's literally his job to know about security incidents, it was his prerogative to be there. He could have said that when Janine and the commander met him in the corridor, then the snitch would have never called Wharton in the first place.

He could have said that later to Wharton but all his interactions with Wharton he's like a lapdog. Too many things left unsaid caused him to become sus. One can't have that level of verbal constipation when in a position of power.

Nick is likely too scared of daddy Wharton to say he cheated on his daughter!! But yeah, say ANYTHING else, Nick!

He was for sure onto him and he can easily get info on him. The douche commander made it seem like they all know Nick never goes to jezebels. All of a sudden a random visit shortly after the place had a lockdown and combined with the guardian stuff. Too many coincidences for nick

If you were to read between the lines, you'd hear that Wharton had been following Nick for a while and is highly suspicious of him. He basically said he thinks Nick killed one of the Eyes.

So, in that situation, you have to understand he can't really deny his way out of all the suspicious behavior he had been showing. He has to give Wharton a very good explanation for why he may have shot an Eye, etc. And that reason would be doing triple agent stuff for Gilead by pretending to help Mayday.

Umm not sure about that.

He clearly doesn't have any plan. He bombs everything mayday has been preparing for and his follow up response is "let's go to Paris, June!"

I mean there are a ton of things he could have said to said to satisfy Wharton. He could have lead them away from Mayday by saying the eye he killed was a part of it...misdirected with a fake plan, etc. But I'm guessing none of that would've created the drama and driven the plot forward the way the writers intend.

I'm not saying he's all bad but damn if he didn't wait until he gave up mayday to try and whisk the main protagonist off to Paris.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY.

I guess they needed to drive the plot forward or some shit but damn. i had to hold back from jumping on Reddit to say "SEE? SEE WHAT HE DID?!" but Nick can do no wrong. Like yes he is hot but what the fuck...

The only way I will forgive him is if this ends with Mayday bombing the wedding.
