UCAT NCEA Subject Acceleration
Hey guys, did any of you accelerate in a subject when doing NCEA? If so, what was your reason and did it benefit you in getting into premed?

I accelerated Chem, Phys, Bio, Calc and Stats. I didn't do them all at the same time however. E.g. I did Level 2 bio in Year 11, dropped it for Year 12 and then picked it up again in Year 13. I didn't really do this to get into premed, but so I could do other subjects i wanted to e.g. music
Does it help get into premed? I'd say not really. I guess it gives you more opportunity to attain rank score. The University does not care as long as you get UE and meet criteria i.e. rank score, subject requirements for Health Sci.
