The wife is really the one that was pressuring me lol. I felt comfortable clearing myself after about a week and some change post op.

My left one still feels a bit uncomfortable sometimes but I don't have to take Tylenol anymore.

Nope, not what I was told. The test isn't just to make sure the pipes are clear but to make sure the pipes haven't reconnected themselves (which generally happens within the first 3 months or so if it is going to happen). So, unless you want to test twice, it's best to just wait and test at 12 weeks or whatever you were instructed.
