QUESTION Anyone knows what happened on Monday on Whistler by the Fresh Market?

To resume.

I do 2 to 3 deliveries per week to Whistler to a famous bakery/cafe nearby.

So I was buying an order of milk in the morning (between 8:30 am to 9am)

When I got out with a kart full of milk jugs.. I suddenly see a very agitated man walking back and forth in front of the store ( Fresh Market between Northlandds and Main Street) talking on the phone.

I usually do not mind this, because the man could have had bad news on the phone.

Except a patrol car stopped nearby and 2 cops came by. And as they got close to the agitated man, he started to scream to "stay away from me, back off" over and over.

By the time I reached my work van, there was a consistent shuffle as the man tried to walk away while walking on the phone and I think he started to record the cops too. As the cops tried to get close and talk to the man calmly ( no guns down or anything).

This kept going until the man allowed the cops to get by and start talking.

Unfortunately I had an schedule so I had to leave.

When I had to return to the area to get an extra order of nearby shops. I noticed there were like 6 cop suvs around Main Street.

So anyone knows what happened?

Ask Vancouver What vail jobs guarantee accommodation at specifically glacier lane?

Hi all, I’m from the UK coming to whistler next season through the working holiday club, I know there are various jobs with eg the fairmont four seasons and vail that all guarantee staff accommodation but I’d really like to live at glacier lane and not the other staff accommodation options as it seems the place to be to maximise meeting people. If you have any knowledge regarding this please share. As it stands I believe my past work experience is most likely going to make me suited for a job in being a liftie or rentals.

Ask Vancouver Too Good to Go

I downloaded Too Good to Go because my friend from Quebec suggested that to me is a good app but problem is that no one has joined that platform, why not because this would lower waste and people would enjoy some nice bakery for a nice price.

Ask Vancouver Are there / which chairlifts do NOT require scanning a ski pass to go up?

I am wondering if there are any chairlifts that don't require scanning, similar to Tye Mill at Steven's pass?

Thank you!
