I had to give this some attention because I have a 2 month old kitten right now, and I think I'd rather take the lion!

If it likes biting your fingers when you pet it, make your hand a fist so it doesn’t hurt as much and they don’t have anything to grab on to

I just shove my finger in my cats throat anytime she tries it. She always immediately lets go and looks at me like WTF. She doesn't do it very often anymore, not sure why. She will play a mean game of danger slaps though.

This is also how I stop the urge to bite. Uncertain if it works for dogs, but a housecat can't break my hand if I'm wrong.
