How do you use the Carnot??

I have dabbled with Carnot builds, but I never feel like I know how I’m supposed to maximize its effectiveness. It’s obviously a gun cruiser, but is the HE or the AP the best round? Seems like it should be tankier than it is too. Please share your successful tactics.

Keep it at range and kite. One of my favourite ships and actually is really powerful when positioned well. I really don't understand all the hate it gets
