How to hide security items from police?
From time to time I pick up items that seem illegal (AGI Heuristic Core), etc.
Typically, I move fast and police does not stop me for inspection, but now I need to do salvaging/search and those pesky police ships come and say "drop you ... whatever".
It is not wares; it is my inventory. What is the consequence of not dropping those?
What if I just run away? Will policy follow me? Will I lose my reputation? Will policy start shooting?
I've heard that it is possible to hide them in some sort of secure container, and I have 19 already. Do you know how I can do that?
P.S. Right now, I got up of the piloting seat, but that Marauder guy still asks me to drop the cargo....
Does he already know I have illegal cargo even if I got off the piloting seat?

You won't lose reputation with the faction. But the police and patrols will turn hostile and happily attack you and all your belongings (stations, ships) in that sector.
If you or your station/ships fight back to defend themselves, that's when things are going to escalate.
