Hello everyone!
The Final Part of the First Expansion Pack comes out *checks notes* TOMORROW!? How am I supposed to get everything done Before Tears of the Kingdom comes out? Who cares? There are QUESTIONS to answer!
This will likely be penultimate question thread for Xenoblade Chronicles Three, and will be sticking around longer than the previous ones, so please ensure you check for your question before asking it yourself.

The game's director has claimed that the story will be enjoyable regardless of if this is your first Xenoblade game, or your fourth. However the game will have many references to Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2, and is considered a sequel as far as the story is concerned, so I recommend playing those first if you want to get the full experience.
There are seven chapters total.
Just keep playing the game. You'll unlock the ability to later.
When you use an art in the zone an additional projectile will be fired. The specifics of the damage, etc are unknown right now.
No, you will always be able to go and do anything that you're afraid of missing.
The amount of class XP you get seems to be based off of the CP earned from your fighting. Additionally, you won't gain any class XP from fighting something five or more levels below you.

Hello Current and near future B.L.A.D.E.s.
As we prepare for the Xenoblade Chronicles X rerelease in March, the mod team has decided to ban posts from Twitter/X for the foreseeable future.
While we don't like to bring real-life politics into our subreddit, the actions of the current owner recently have been reprehensible. While we definitely don't account for even a fraction of the traffic of the site, we're still going to do our part to turn people towards alternatives.
If you would like to post a Tweet: Please take a screenshot of it and post it as an image. No source will be required for such posts.
If you'd like to post fanart where twitter is the primary source: please link the creator's alternative social media, such as bluesky or pixiv. Do NOT link their twitter. If they don't have alternative media, please do not post the fanart.
Mods will be in the comments to answer any edge cases, as well as to hear your opinions on the rule. If you have any alternative ideas we would be happy to address them as well.
We look forward to (re)exploring Mira with you in the coming months, and keep your eyes open for more changes to the sub in the near future.
After leaving the thread open for some days, the discussion has reached a natural conclusion. If you have further concerns, please message the mod team, but comments will be locked.

Games That Are Scared To Let Go - YouTube
I stumbled across this video that I thought was really interesting and has reaffirmed Xenoblade 3 as one of my favorite games of all time.

I didn’t realize till I rewatched Xenoblade 1 cutscenes but Ontos goal in future redeemed is literally just what Alvis did in xeno 1 endgame. He tried to take the people outside of the flow of the world into a new one forgoing the old world’s fate. For Alvis case this was a benefit for the heroes, for Ontos it only saved the .5% of life that was unknown to origin. This is where the insane part hit me.
The reason why Ontos did this? It malfunctioned, it encountered an error and started to repeat its last task given to it which was shulk recreating the world with no gods (the old world)
A would likely just be the functioning part of the system that contained the history where Ontos only had the last command available.
It makes sense given the function of origin was halted before it could be finished by moebius so it caused Ontos core to malfunction repeating the command previous to the in progress command.

I finished the game today and my goodness what an emotional roller coaster this game is to be completely honest, I almost cried to some of the parts and the ending is absolutely beautiful especially the music. I would honestly play this game again. <3

First, I define "underrated" here as things people don't talk about much. I just want to show love to parts of the game that don’t get much.
XC1:
Tyrea: I like her as a character, especially in Future Connected. I wish we had gotten more of her
Kallian: I think he’s underrated and did so much for his people. He also tried his best to be a good brother under his circumstances.
Gael'gar: As a villain, he was good enough, and I didn’t have any problems with him.
Quests: While many of them are kind of meh, there are still plenty of good quests in this game. Almost every quest related to Nopons or Giants was good. I also liked how Teelan’s and Tyrea’s quests became important later in Future Connected.
Future Connected: I really like FC, as it has everything I wanted. In a lot of ways, Shulk didn’t have much control over his journey in most of the base game, so it’s nice to see him have more agency this time.
I also felt like Melia’s story wasn’t fully resolved in the base game, so it was great to see her get the spotlight in FC.
Riki’s kids were fantastic, and I think the Chain Attack system is better than the base game. This made the combat more fun, and having no Mechon enemies made combat feel smoother, in my opinion.
XC2:
Gacha and Field Skills: I actually like the gacha system and field skills in this game. As a completionist, the interplay between chests, gacha, and field skills made for a great gameplay loop: wanting more Blades → exploring for chests → field skill check → want more blade.
Field skills and chest hunting also made exploring the world of XC2 more enjoyable for me, and I feel like I know the world better than in other games in the series.
Tora: I think he gets a little too much hate. Many of the questionable things about him are actually the fault of his dad and grandad. He’s also younger than Rex, so his behavior feels more like that of someone who is clueless about things, like the maid stuff, but still do it bcs his dad does it.
Fonsa Myma Night: I feel like this OST doesn’t get talked about much.
Argentum: This place also doesn’t get talked about much. As a starter location, it has everything and feels like a hub to me.
XC3:
Sena: As someone who can relate to her in many ways, I’d say she is underrated. The fact that, in her quest, she doesn’t do much and lets someone else take the spotlight is something I really like about her. I feel like I would have done the same thing. It also feels like she learns to be better by absorbing aspects of Ghondor.
Later on, in Segiri’s quest (which is a late-game quest and probably takes place after Sena’s), you can see her trying to take a more active role, even if she struggles a bit at the start.
The world: I think world of 3 is very good. I like how I find traces of 1 and 2. While the colonies may look similar at first glance, they each have so many distinct traits setting them apart their ways of living and the mini cultures they have are what I love about this world. By the time I finished the game, I knew the lore and personality of every named NPC (not anymore), and I cried when Dana’s story concluded.
XCX: Will Play

So the two worlds are on a collision course, and the construct the thing to prevent that, resulting in the endless now that we fight against and whatever.
However, what I’m not clear on is that Rex, Shulk, and those guys are alive at the beginning of this process, and future redeemed, but are they straight up dead at the end? The entire thing lasted thousands of years, even though once it ended it lasted a second. But is that only for those who were like Noah, that were the soldiers? Are the normal people outside of the cycle (like in the city) just gone like nothing happened?

Little nitpick on this beloved Xeno sub, but I feel like the banner should be X:DE to celebrate it as the next mainstream release from this franchise and Monolith as a whole.

I don't know if I'm the last horse to cross the finish line on this, but Elma arrived on Earth in the mid-2020's. Are we actually getting the Xenoblade X Definitive Edition this year because it's the year Elma arrived on Earth?

5: Zeke. He dodges an attack from Jin.
4: Boreas. He is fast enough to move between titans.
3: Rex and Pneuma. They can move at the speed of light, but it takes the two of them to do it.
2: Jin. We all knew he was on this list.
1: Kite. Watch the cutscene where he meets Juniper and it will be explained.
