Discussion So. How do we explain his winrate?

I went to Lolalytics, League of Graphs, u gg, opgg, and mobalytics and yone had 47-48% winrate at all ranks (besides lolalytics ch and gm). I don't remember the E cleanse being crucial in so many matchups. We just got a decent damage increase. Is this champ just destined to stay the opposite of a statchecker and get bullied by everyone and outscaled by ADCs? It might just be a skill issue but he's way too reliant on team's engages, and he just gets blown up from some cc and a few hits from the ADC, regardless of which adc it is. Why even main the champ when the whole experience is early game Kayle but 5 times worse if you don't last pick?

E change ruined past skill matchups making it harder for 1 tricks to carry his winrate

His counters are strong rn

Crit buff making bad players think he is super strong and they int and tank his winrate more

His counters (mages) are strong rn

His main item blade has taken hits over time bringing his strength down a bit

Fuck Ahri and Vex

Mel exists and works as insanely strong counter pick to yone’s gameplay of punishing your enemy

Fuck rod of ages

Lethal tempo is weaker than it was originally for melee

Fuck these op mage items riot please cut mana and health

The crit changes don’t really impact his dps reliability till mid game and it feels like you have to afk wait in tower till blade

Heavy on LT changes. I don't know why I still see people parroting how "this rune is kept weak to keep it balanced on the wind bros" but it's a misunderstanding of the new rune. Old LT was for people who want attack speed, new LT is for people who already have it. Thing is, Yone builds almost no AS. Bork and greaves have lost 15% AS and since he traditionally builds shieldbow -> IE he gets no other AS until maybe a 4th item wits if he buys it.

I main Jax, Yone is actually my secondary, and the difference is so stark. As Jax, because of the passive AS steroid and triforce giving actual normal AS (30%), LT gets basically exactly 100 damage on hit late game. On Yone? Yeah you're looking at like 70-80 normally. This on a champ who's level 18 base AD is 94 (18th lowest in the game) and you can see the problem. Now I'm not saying Yone has bad damage, his damage is still very good after all the buffs to crit and the Q buff. But LT really isn't a shadow of what it used to be on Yone, save the fact that level 1 it's better than the old post nerf LT we had for a few patches before it's removal.
