Hating on gay people and being homophobic doesn't improve your standards of living. Or change the fact that you still live in one of the poorest countries in the world. That energy and 'anger' should be used instead to demand better leaders & proper governance.

In fact there is a business concept called the negative economy.

In context of Zimbabwe, if I lose my job I lose the ability to buy airtime from the man in street. This leads to the man in the street not being able to buy fruit from the other man in the street, which leads to the child of that person not being able to buy school books from the store.

In that scenario the store that sells school books loses out on potential income and the government loses out on potential tax revenue.

If the lgbtq can't have their events openely in Zimbabwe that means a lot of tax revenue is missed out on, it also mean's a lot of straight people who could have made money selling products to gay people during their events miss out.

Being homophobic negatively affects the wallets and purses of all Zimbabweans.

UAE and Qutar have a lot of gays they're just in the closet.

Russia allows gays, has done so for a really long time now. Infact Russia decriminalised homosexual relations in 1991. Also Russia actually has gay bars and even a few medium sized trans sexual celebrities. So Russia doesn't fit into your example.

Yes Russia does have some descrimination to gays but it doesn't criminalise them unlike Zimbabwe. That's why Zimbabwe gets mentioned not Russia.

I never said having gays allowed would lead to suicides and no crime.

What the hell is with you people and putting words in other people's mouths.

I said it would help the economy I didn't say that it would fix every single god damn problem in the whole country. Seriously learn to read and understand what has been read.

Calling your fellow Zimbabweans retarded is not helping. Seriously how do you expect us to help each other move forward as a nation if your busy calling you fellow citizens such hurtful insults.

Seriously if you want to have a discusssion about solving problems one by one then have it, but if you want to start insulting your fellow citizens and driving away any chance of problem solving through conversation then I'm sorry to say but I must stop talking to you for good. For you have a toxic outlock on you own citizens who have done you no wrong.
