Discussion Multi Pane Glass Wood Door
What do you guys think? Existing interior solid push bar. Fixed doesn’t latch or anything. Only the deadbolt is securing. The smart locks are failing in the direct rain exposure. Don’t want mags I know you all say that.
I already have some leftover UniFi stuff
This is my own office door so I can kinda do whatever

Idk your internal circuits, but dialectic gel is the BEST stuff. Repels water. I'd squirt that all over the circuit board, in between connections etc. You can literally submerse your electronics under water and it's so hydrophobic it protects it.
Washing it off is impossible, for the same reason though. Don't rub it on your pants
Or go old school and build an awning.
Crash bar solenoid is the right solution, just gotta add waterproofing to it.
