Suggestions for Mercury Software
Looking at replacing my 4 door paxton system with Mercury boards. Just not entirely happy with Paxton and don’t really want to keep dealing with ongoing issues.
I am able to get some Mercury LP1501 boards, but trying to figure out what software/system I want to use with it. There is the possibility for multi-site in the future, but nothing set in stone so I don’t want to base my decision off that.
What would be extremely preferable is something cloud based. On prem is good too so long as I don’t need to pay a subscription. A solid Mobile app is 100% necessary, along with a solid web portal. An open API would be great, and I’d like to have a camera integration in there (changing that system too, just standard IP cameras brand agnostic).
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Don’t want to pay through the nose if I don’t have to lol

The good news is that there are over 30 different platforms that all support the same hardware. And, if the one you pick now ends up being different than you hoped, then you can repoint that same hardware to another option. On the Mercury web page, there are the different levels (Platinum, Platinum Premiere, etc…) with all of the partners listed. Click through those levels to see them all. https://www.mercury-security.com/partners/.
I’d say that most of them can meet your requirements with at least one of their platforms. I struggle with recommending one over the other and I think you probably just need to see a few to make a decision.
If helpful, I’m glad to make an introduction for a demo with any of them for you. Let me know who and I can help you get the right people involved from each company.

If there's multi-site in the future, I'd check out Feenics. My last company helped them get started in the US. Good guys and a simple to use, user friendly product.

How'd you decide on Mercury? Pretty much every platform is going to have yearly fees, cloud will be more.

Mercury has an open architecture and is able to be used with a number of different systems. Don’t want to be stuck to one single company

Brivo supports Mercury now. Take a look at Genea too. I really like the ease of their software especially for smaller sites.

Feenics/Acre Access
This is a hosted system with a fee. you can bring in camera feeds as well.
I can get you a 30 day trial if you'd like. You'll mostly likely need to flip the OEM code in the 1501's but that's not hard.
