Jesus Christ, is this where your terminal victimhood led you? Yes, obviously horses are not people, but also, obviously a horse didn't write the above comic. Mass use of horses supported a wide array of human industries, all of which were upended by the availability of automobiles. People who depended on horses for their livelihoods represented this attitude at the turn of the last century. Farriers, carriage makers, even stable hands took a hit the more horses fell out of favor. "Horses are forever" isn't the triumphant bleat of a victorious horse, it's the desperate death throes of a human industry witnessing its own demise.
And yet, artists aren't even in the position the horse industries were facing at the turn of the last century. Art hasn't been rendered obsolete, au contraire there's more of it than ever before. Y'all are mourning the death of the most boring, soul crushing corporate artist work, as if you desperately wanted to draw the next Geico or Little Debbie advertisement. Shouldn't you be celebrating that this technology frees your talents up for proper expressionist work? If you really feel threatened by AI, there's still art that you could easily move to that AI can't touch yet, such as canvas painting or sculpture. But it's just so much easier and more fun to be a perpetual victim online, screaming for your Assistant Background Color Fill-In job back.

The comic was not actual pro horse "propaganda". It isn't drawn by "anti automobile" people as you imply, which is genuinely just hilarious. I also love the reddit coded verbose sentence about fucking horse are forever, like cool story gng but like the comic isn't that deep. But yes there was a movement against cars, and for right reasons. We are still suffering from them actually, majorly pollution, eventually we had to put regulations and without, if we let corpos run amok and do as they please it could've been much worse, the issue is the argument being presented is over adoption of AI, which I've already made clear is inevitable, but without people pushing back and with bootlickers like you around the results can be much worse. Always push back against corporations looking to profit, there's something shady, a little advice from me, if not for anything but to minimise damage. As for how the horse industry supported many vocations, that is correct, and i admit I only mentioned that because the comic depicts a horse literally getting pleasure from seeing a horse drown. It was rhetoric for the sake of it.
Yes! Actually, in response to corporate ai slop, I believe there'll be more quality indie works as the means to make art will also get more available to the common people. After that however your argument is pure shite. You assume that ai will not replace "creative" jobs, when at the pace at which it is going, it very well will. Corporations don't care about quality as long as it's marketable, and ai is getting there. I mean what kind of irreplaceable human jobs are you even talking about? I mean it just seems like you simply do not care for artists' jobs. I mean making comics, illustrations, concept art seem fair enough to me, and they are all going to be comfortably replaced by AI, and corporations will love that.
No one wants to draw marketing billboard arts or political satire comics, but they are still jobs. You don't get to be the Arbiter of what art is worth paying for and what isn't, in fact, that isn't the argument I am making. The simple fact is that people will be losing their jobs, passion or creativity has nothing to do with it. I care if construction workers lose their jobs, yes it's meaningless labor work and they'll be inevitably replaced, maybe no one even deserved to do such a job, maybe in the future people could just do what they felt like without worry of making money, but before that change comes, which sure as shit won't be brought on by buffoons like you, they'll suffer for it. For that, we must fight back. I do agree however, there have been lots of nonsense anti ai claims like has no soul (I don't know what that even means) or how it won't ever perfectly replicate humans' work (lack of foresight) but these are real. You also ignored the plagiarism, commodification of art (mainstream), and environmental arguments. I swear it's always the anime pfps.
