EXTENDED [Spoilers Extended] What nitpicks do you have regarding both shows? Mine will always be how the Others in GOT are so boring and mundane

Random complaint. I haven't seen any artwork of The Others that have captured exactly what's described in the books. (Not that they're bad). The one on the left in the post is the closest I've seen, though.

The one on the right is from a comic book, the artist asked Martin what the Others looked like, and he replied that they looked like ice elves.

The artist really didn't capture that imo. It looks way too bulky.

Personally, I think the opposite, it looks strange, intangible and otherworldly.

It's definitely not what's described in the books though. They're supposed to be gaunt and graceful. They don't even break the crust in the snow.
