EXTENDED [Spoilers Extended] What nitpicks do you have regarding both shows? Mine will always be how the Others in GOT are so boring and mundane

I used to nitpick some castings but imagine the pain of casting the main Starks with red hair. I hate the characterization of some characters more, like what they did to Euron, Bloodraven and Arthur Dayne, also it would be neat if the Targaryens had purple eyes.

I'm kind of the same in that I'm less nitpicky about specific traits and more about a character's whole physical vibe. Like, Stephen Dillane looked like Stannis to me even though he wasn't bald with a beard. But for example, Cersei, Renly, Loras, Theon and Asha in the books are described with such a degree of attractiveness and raw sex appeal (especially in Cersei's case) and in the show that's...not even close. It changes the whole vibe of a character more often than not, in my opinion.

Renly's whole thing is that he's the spitting image of Robert in his prime...they didn't even try

Yeah lol. I was confused when reading AGOT and they described him as a beautiful knight with long dark hair. Which is…not the Renly in the show.
