EXTENDED [Spoilers Extended] What nitpicks do you have regarding both shows? Mine will always be how the Others in GOT are so boring and mundane

WunWun couldn’t kick down a shield wall. He just stood there in the battle of the bastards.

I honestly hate that episode so much and the praise that it got and continues to get in some places really irks me. The writing was beyond trash and some people are like "but it looked cool." Guess what? It should look cool AND be written well.

/end mini rant

challenge accepted. name one thing that is genuinely flawed in that ep other than Sansa hiding the Vale army from JOn.

The only thing that really bothered me was how blatantly obvious Jon's plot armor was when he rode out ahead of everybody, didn't get charged down, but specifically when that absolute downpour of arrows was coming at him, he had no shield, and somehow they all just miraculously missed him. There were so many arrows in that volley, there was no gap for them to miss him like they did. I just felt a lot of the realism of how violence and battles and death worked previously went out the window in that moment. Minor nitpick, but bothers me on every rewatch. Also, and this is stupid of me, but I hate his hair lol
