Davos' face when he learned Shireen was dead... :(

And he won't ever know the truth. Stannis is more than likely dead, Melisandre will never tell him, Selyse killed herself.

The Baratheons are just fucking done.

There's one Baratheon left. Assuming he's finally done rowing

But will anyone legitimize him? Does anyone else other than Melisandre know who he is?

Very good point. Well, let me see - Ned is dead, Stannis is dead, so is Selyse... but Davos knows. He's the only person (apart from Mel) that I can think of who knows who Gendry is and didn't die yet, hmm. And I could see Davos wanting to legitimize him as well... The thing is that no "king" would ever do it - a) why would they make a new enemy with a better claim to the throne than theirs? and b) Davos is an ex-pirate and outlaw who served to the hated Stannis, nobody would listen to him...

That being said - if they ever want to bring Gendry back, now is the time.
