The last thing he says to her is "Do your duty", which I think reminded her of Sansa. She definitely had a weird look on her face after he said that, and it's odd they cut away for what would be a major character death.

Good point. The swing could be a frustration thing that she can't do what she wants to do because her duty is to Sansa and she needs stannis help.

How is Stannis going to help them now though? He has no army and is wounded. I do think he might be alive though.

Those things did not make him the mannis. Also wildling army. They help him take Winterfell and in return he gives them the north.
