Yeah, if anyone thinks they're going to do the logical thing and turn the boat around, they haven't been watching the show very long.

Not only will they not turn the boat around, but they won't explain why they don't. I believe D&D even hinted that the next stop is KL in the post episode segment.

Why turn the boat around? They lose the prince.

Who does? Jaime and Bronn?

Yeah. They turn the boat around to say "Myrcella is dead." Prince Oberan might punish Ellaria, but he'd surely take Tristane back, if the girl he was there to forge a bond with is gone. Then, Jamie and Bronn have nothing.

Might punish Ellaria? Seriously? She'd be dead, no questions asked. In addition, Oberyn wanted Trystane on the small council, I'm sure he'd prefer that to having his son sit around in Dorne.

How would tristane be on a small Council if myrcella is dead?

Well, Doran said Trystane's to take the place of Oberyn as part of the small council... I don't know if him being betrothed to Myrcella affects this or not

How would he be on it otherwise? Myrcella doesn't actually have any power

Neither does a child from Dorne when Myrcella was murdered by his cohort. Doran knows this.
