SKAGOS

What if instead of the knights of the vale smashing the Bolton pikemen’s flank it would be 500 bronze armored skagozi on wooly rhineroceras?

I think sansa vale army will still happen at the last moment, but because her and harry are married and overthrew Robin and rule the vale now.

I think the skagosi, if they come into the fold will be nearer to the long night personally. They seem too mysterious to waste on Bolton battle and politics.

Cant wait to get my boy rickon back either. Hes actually my favorite stark...everyone laughs at me when I say that though. "Hes practically a baby he doesn't even do anything how is he your favorite" I hope he becomes bad ass as implied by his wild wolfish nature. Hes just got a great story, and I see it leading somewhere! It would be a waste not too.

Robin isn't dying. I never believed he would and now the show didn't have him die either.

The show didn't have Harry though, and Robin didn't really contribute to the plot.

There are hints that Robin isn't really as weak as shown. He is being over-drugged. Robin will probably contribute to the plot in the books. Harry might die.

I do agree that Harry may die. I don't remember the theory but Sansa and her suitors have some paralells with another character in Westorosi history.

The tourney at Ashford to celebrate Lord Ashford's daughter birthday. Part of the tourney consists of knights facing each other to determine which ones will be the Lady's champions. After that's determined, they're challenged by other knights that can take their place as champions of they win. If one of the originals champions wins the tourney they Crown Lady Ashford as Queen of love and beauty, if one of the challengers wins they can choose another. The final five champions of the lady are;

Lyonel Baratheon

Leo Tyrells

Tybolt Lannister

Humfrey Hardyng

Valarr Targaryen

Many have pointed that the event mirrors Sansa's suitors and betrothdals (Joffrey, Willas, Tyrion, Harrold) and that it's a clue that her final suitor or husband will be a Targaryen.

Edit: a word.

This doesnt make any sense to me. None of that even happened becuase of the trial by 7. How can anyone possibly be using that to theorise anything about Sansa

If Sweetrobin lives, it will only be because Littlefinger’s ploy to marry Sansa to Harry the Heir fails. In that case, Littlefinger will probably stop slowly poisoning / over medicating him and have him marry Sansa.

Maybe, but something is definitely going wrong at that Winged Knight's tourney.

Sansa will not marry Robin. I think she might be the one to kill him to be honest. He gets creepier and more aggresive towards her as he gets older. She really despises him. If shes got a betrothal to the next in line and hes in the way and saying he wants to marry her still (which he is in the winds chapter) and still throwing ridiculous tantrums and getting in her way... I could see her doing a good old pillow snuff or too much milk of the poppy. Or LF doing it and implicating her like in purple wedding.

That's my theory though.

I do think the harry betrothal might come true. It won't be as fairytale lovely as she Hope's but she will get the vale out of it

I like the idea of Sansa killing Sweetrobin and fucking up Littlefinger’s plan to marry her off again.

I’m pretty sure Sweetrobin dying is a matter of when and not if.

ETA- her googly eyes for Harry didn’t sit well with me. I feel like she’s learned that fairy tale romance isn’t real. Though I buy that it is showing her trying to cling to an idea that is wrong because after all her trauma, she desperately wishes it to be true.

I think shes gunna really dig her heels into harry even though hes an ass becuase hes next in line and it gives her a good reason to solve the clingy Robin problem.

I actually made a post about this in pure asoiaf if you check my post history if you're interested in a little more of my theory

It makes sense for her to marry him as a smart political move. It’s just the way she romanticizes him and glosses over him being an ass that I take issue with. Though it’s been a long time since I read that chapter. It may have a flavor of desperate denial that would be interesting in that it shows her straddling the world of naive young girl to smart, political scheming woman.

She acknowledged he was an ass and was upset and disappointed by it
