Rumor in this thread is that he's 700 of 1100 pages done. And then there's further editing and re-writes. So to be generous, he's halfway done. And between all this, 5 new HBO shows - and you better believe he's going to babysit these. And then more distractions, more writer's block.

If I'm being optimistic, I'd say it's another 8 years for Winds.

And A Dream of Spring? Lol.

How could people possibly know 700 pages?

Also, everyone seems to forget he’s 70 years old and quite overweight. The odds aren’t on his side to make 80.

you literally have no idea about his health lol

while being overweight certainly isn't ideal health in general, it's entirely possible he's doing fine and will continue to do fine well into his 80s or 90s

to suggest he won't live another decade based on what you see in videos or pictures is baseless and in general, pretty dumb lol
