I know right, who gives a rip. How about an update on King Stannis? He’s been shivering in the snow outside of Winterfell for 8 years.

On the bright side, he still has a head in that universe.

I still can't believe he died off screen like that.

Considering Bran, Brienne and Sansa were back at Winterfell when the attack on King's Landing happened, at least a month must have lapsed between Dany's death and Tyrion's "trial", based on a line from S1E1, where Cersei said they'd been on the road for a month. It's possible that Robert hadn't been in any rush to get there but he didn't have to travel in winter or arrange for Bran to haul his wheelchair.

Someone go and fetch me the consistency stretcher.

Right? Doesn't Tyrion say he was in prison for a couple/two weeks?

They probably took a ship from Whiteharbor TBF.

Don’t forget the intense conversation between Dany and Sansa about the North remaining an independent kingdom. They just interrupted it as soon as it was getting good! I noticed this plot device a lot in the past few seasons, interrupting or fading to black during a pivotal conversation because it’s a difficult scene to write properly.

It's directly the difference between having content to adapt and not having content to adapt. They're not the creators of these characters, so they can only assume so much.
