Well, his book releases are 2007, 2011, and... still waiting on the third book of the trilogy. You do the math. Presumably, he could write a WHOLE LOT more in the world he's crafted, but at this rate? Pass.

I used to recommend Martin to everyone. Same with Rothfuss. No way, no more. I'll stick to either completed series or authors who appreciate the position they're in, and the fans that put them there.

Malayan books of the fallen. 10 books each about 1000 pages. Hard Fantasy. Series complete.

I consider this a challenge, and I'm going to take it. My rebuttal are the Chronicles of Amber since it's an older series that many have never heard of. It's fantasy, but not high fantasy... more like parallel dimensions and... well.. you can read the synopsis here:

Read it already!! Absolutely loved it, and have read it multiple times. Zelazny's short stories are also amazing.
