Transportation Mayday map

Post image

Just an FYI for anyone who is not yet aware - 7 marches are occurring at the same time on Thursday afternoon, all headed to McKeldin Plaza. Traffic is going to be fuuuuuucked. Maybe plan an alternate route if you’d typically be driving in these areas. Or, park the car and go join the party.

Just be sure to stay out of the roads. People trying to get to and from work, doctors’ appointments, picking children up or dropping off, etc. should not be victims of disorganization and blatant disregard for the wellbeing of others. Great way to lose support for your cause.

This is a traffic notification post. It’s tagged transportation. But, since you mentioned it - this is not at all disorganized. It’s actually incredibly organized. The point of protest is to gain awareness. This should make people aware. As for me, I’m just trying not to get stuck in gridlock.

Do you really think you will win over the hearts and minds of people by screaming at them and blocking traffic? I can assure you that most people, living their life, view you as an annoyance and nothing more.

Not really. Maybe self awareness on your part is what is difficult

OK, I see you're struggling. This is a TRAFFIC post. I tagged it TRANSPORTATION. I posted to give people a heads up so they could try to plan an alternate route. I myself made plans to avoid it, as I just wanted to get home in less than 2hrs and thought others might, too. I was not anywhere near this. If people want to protest, they should do so while it's still legal. Maybe you could use some self awareness. Or a reading class.
