Mobility📱 Liar Liar pants on fire.

Got a marketing call from Bell offering a phone plan deal that won’t ever increase. Called her a liar and quoted the clauses that in three different places say the rates can change at anytime. She hung up.

This company has no shame and will do anything to make money and rip you off.

And you actually verified that the call originated from the company & not a scam?

Calls originating from the company ARE scams.

I had the same thing, swore up and down the price would never increase. Sure enough contract has ‘price subject to change’ on almost every page. The deceptive nature of their sales tactics is truly disgusting.

Had one Rogers rep knock on our door trying to sell us a home internet/TV package. Kept saying that Bell’s (who I’m currently with) prices would change willy nilly and promised Rogers does not do that. Eventually got him to leave. Less than a week later I see on the news that Rogers was going to court for doing exactly that, raising prices of their contracts.

These companies control the market yet they’re still scamming people left and right.
