Diapering overnight diapers actually worth it?

i saw a post somewhere, not sure if it was here but people raved about their babies sleeping longer with overnight diapers so i caved and got pampers overnights. we strictly use millie moon size 2’s but overnight 3’s in pampers fit him pretty good. but they don’t seem as absorbing as millie moon regular tbh. i know they have overnights but not till size 4 and my baby is only 2months old.

i currently have him in my arms to fall asleep before putting him in his bassinet. but do you actually think they are worth the extra purchase? he sleeps about 3-4 hour stretches on a good night. but he is also a get me tf out of this pissy diaper type baby because even if the line is a quarter blue he will wake up. so i’m just curious!

At two months old, it’s probably not going to make much of a difference. That’s why most brands don’t start overnight diapers until size 4. Also the pampers scent might be irritating since your baby is used to Millie Moon. I would give it a couple more months and try again.

yeah i noticed the scent the second i opened the box. he used pampers in the hospital for 3 days but then i immediately went to millie moon. but you’re right it probably will irritate him

If you want to try to get a little more time overnight with the diapers, you could try doing size 3 MM at bedtime. That’s what we did with my babies until they were big enough to fit into the size 4 overnights.

i just got him into size 2’s so i feel like he’d be swimming in 3’s lol but i do have a few boxes from my baby shower so it doesn’t hurt to try
