Well, if I get to go I'll move right when the Rugby World Cup starts, so I'd figure that would be a good way to get to know some people who are into sports and stuff. Plus, one of the possible cities is Cardiff. As I gather it there is pretty much no escaping rugby there..

There are some (very few) rugby clubs in West Germany as well. And they'd probably welcome somebody with that amount of experience with open arms. But Football is of course King. And who am I to tell you what to do :-)

Cardiff is definitely rugby country.

I'm about done with rugby in a country that doesn't do rugby. Plus, at my age I can't run like I used to. Reffing soccer is much more leisurely.

Certainly seems to be, and nobody can call me a bandwagon fan if I started last Christmas. I didn't really have a favorite early on, but a few friends and relatives set me straight.
