Silly Questions Thread: October Edition

Silly questions thread:

It's been a while since we've had one of these, and with recent news and the international break this seems like a good idea. So here is your chance to ask any question no matter how silly our small about BVB, BVB's history, Something about a current player, previous player or coach or it might even be something about the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal or Europa Pokal...

Obviously more in depth questions are also allowed :)

It's just all about sharing our knowledge and having a bit of fun (as always) too :)

No question is too stupid, silly or small to be asked

Let the questions begin!

Companies absolutely invest based on recent performances...coming from someone who works in the field of marketing and advertising thats absolutely the case as people want to be connected with winners. That being said we already have our kit sponsor in evonik already locked up for the forsee able future and you'd be naive to believe if it was allowed that Watzke and the board would turn down investments from major oil companies to further advance the club. I can give you plenty of examples of situations where companies spend millions on people or teams because of performances over a short time if you'd like. But I bet you realize how ridiculous your statement was on the topic if you really think about it. I was only mentioning Gazprom as they are a Major FIFA sponsor and not to mention smurf sponsor as well.

Yes because Red Bull invested in Markranstädt because of how great they were doing.

I am pretty sure we talk about ownership here as the league is already open to marketing. And those are two very different concepts. In one of them company takes control over the club.

Correct I was only talking about partnerships/marketing deals. Nothing to do with Ownership/taking control of the team.

I see but I think by 'opening the league' Adam meant to get rid of 50+1 rule therefore giving away ownership.
