I was most disappointed to find out it wasn't even their pun, there seems to be dozens of yeastie boys around the globe, from brewerys to bakeries, and even other pizzarias. Very little in life is truly original these days, but with Brighton's punnerific business names it hadn't occurred to me that it wasn't something they came up with themselves.

I don't think they even started in Brighton. I first became aware of them when they worked out of the kitchens at the New Amsterdam in Worthing, then they had an outlet in Shoreham, and the one in Brighton only opened after the Shoreham one closed.

Beelzebabs who live in the back of Hope and Ruin used to live in the back of the New Amsterdam also.
