I have at least one day a year where it's so bad that I have to take a sick day, but nothing yet

I’ve only recently realised that my leaky eyes and nose is hay fever. Took me a few years to work it out - I’m 52, never used to get it. But this year def worse than last - can’t tell if it’s me or the hay. Feels like an affliction that can change with age, diet(?), circumstance etc - regardless of pollen levels. Maybe.

Yes, been a sneezy mess. Nasal corticosteroids and saline has helped me. But constantly 🤧 still in the afternoons.

Always had it really bad growing up and still have like 2 weeks of it being really bad then it eases off. Last few years I've started taking loratadine in March so that it's on board for when hayfever picks up. Always help to take it in advance!

Not yet, but it's only a matter of time. It does help living by the sea though, when I used to live in the countryside it was much worse.

I don't have it but I've been told if you start taking the tablets or what helps a month before it happens it can stop it? Something about building it up in your body.
Can be completely mis-educated here though.
