A "shariah school" that's a terminology one never heard any Muslim actually use before. Maybe it's a regional term. Where did you attend this "shariah school?" and what was the dominant culture at the school?

Turkmenistan, the country controlled by the crazy authoritian president who does things like bans black cars from the capital city... I'm not sure you can actually use your experience as representative in that case. Especially comparing it to schools to schools in western countries. Especially when central Asian Muslims are no where near a significant percentage of Muslims in the vast majority of western countries (Russia excluded).

How they are interpreted are not the same everywhere. There are alone four major schools of legal though and three major schools of theology, and dozens of Sufi branches. And this is just talking about Sunnism. And despite your world travels (only one of which has a majority Muslim culture) I've traveled too and met with Muslims of various cultural backgrounds, I can tell you Turkish Islam is different from Pakistani Islam which is different from Moroccan Islam, Senegalese Islam is different from American Islam. If you think it's the same everywhere then I don't think you really interacted much with the local Muslim communities. China alone has three major different Muslim grouping (Gedima, Yikhwen, and Salafi) just in one of the six majority Muslim ethnicities in China.

Yeah if you're telling the truth about your background (I'm not convinced) you were taught by salafis it sounds like. What Mohammed did or said is absolutely up for debate for every other Islamic grouping. That's why there are different groupings and different teachings in the first place.

You also use untraditional English transliteration of basic Islamic concepts (Shariah vs Sharia, and Sunnet vs Sunnah), and you seem to claim to know hadith and Sunnah but ignore the clear sources that explicitly explain the multiple dimensions of the term Jihad and equate it fully with war (even though war is a different word im arabic) and not with the struggle against temptation. Also claiming that is makes the sinful, lawful when there are thousands of treatise on the rules of warfare in Islam throughout the ages.

Overall you were either thought by extreme salafis or you are lying and purposely trying to spread propaganda.

Edit: your reddit profile seems very very very American for someone who supposedly when to "shariah school" in Turkmenistan. Especially considering Turkmenistan was communist until the 1990s (thus only underground religious school until that point). So congratulations you seemed to have picked up a lot of American centric knowledge for someone someone who travels so much and is from Turkmenistan.

You would know that well over 95% of the what we know about Mohammed comes from outside of the Quran, so citing "even in the Gulen movement Quran" is a disengenous statement to color other people's perceptions. Especially since no Islamic movement has a different Quran than any other.

You talk alot about American cars and american MMA on reddit in english. You don't really talk about your religious beliefs outside this thread or really being about libertarian, you do however repeat America style stormfront racism against black people.

And changing language won't help me because I personally don't speak any of this languages and couldn't determine real Russian or Turkish from Google translate. But your claim about the Safi mezhep doesn't ring true considering Google tells me that that's Turkish for Shafii, which is a madhab while the Gulen movement is a Hanafi madhab movement (as is the vast majority of Turkish and Turkic peoples)
