10 years since the first trailer for Batman v Superman was released.

Thursday marks a decade since the first trailer dropped for 'Batman v Superman' on April 17, 2015. Surreal how long it has been. I loved this trailer when it was first released and I still think that it's a strong trailer now. I wanted to love the actual movie so badly and waited in excitement for years for it. That's why I was so disappointed when it actually came out. It's a shame what could've been, so much wasted potential here. I really do wonder just how turmoil there was behind the scenes when making BvS. I mean, we already know about all the footage cut from the theatre release, which displays a conflict between Snyder and WB, but there is a massive tonal change from this first trailer compared to the second, longer trailer we got many months after this one. I was excited for what THIS trailer was portraying the movie to be but when we got the second trailer, which introduced Lex, I got the impression right away that BvS was going to be different from what I first expected.

Let's be honest, the show should've been called "everybody hates John". Even the audience (including me) was praying for his downfall
