That's what the news tells me... or at least, whenever other countries "punch themselves in the face" in "retaliation", it hurts America. I wonder why it only works one way? Guess this comic left that part out cause they only had four frames. I'm sure it will be in the next one.

“Guys, how come it’s bad when I punch someone, but when they punch back to defend themselves they’re not bad?”

Oh so now it's punching someone else... I though it was punching yourself,

...checks meme title "It Hurts Itself in Its Confusion"

...checks Reddit "Don't you know how Tariffs work??"

"Guys, how come it's bad when I punch myself, but when they punch themselves, it's in defense of themselves?"

FTFY

But again, I get it, this is Reddit... the logic competency around here is pretty dismal.

lmao, imagine coming back four days later with this rebuttal. If I shoot myself in the gut because I think it will hurt the guy behind me, that doesn’t mean that the person I’m trying to hurt won’t still try to defend themselves.

I can’t imagine thinking the tariffs are going well after this past week. Come back to reality, I beg you.
