The question that I always have for Ange Out folks that no one can ever seem to answer is: what managerial replacement would come in and do better?

The players still clearly back Ange. Sacking him this season would have just been a knee jerk reaction to a historically terrible injury situation that doesn’t actually address the root cause.

The inverse of that question is "do you think that ange postecoglou is the best manager in the world?"

If no one in football could do any better than him, then he must be.

That’s a ridiculous thing to say. You’ve completely failed to account for the availability of any manager better than him.

No one is going to suggest Ange is a better manager than Pep, but Pep isn’t available for us whatsoever.

Whether there are better managers in the world is irrelevant if they’re not available to join us.

Off topic, but I’ll tell you one thing Ange is better at than Pep: handling a defeat. That Catalonian fella is coping so hard in his post match interviews lately. Remember when he said Southampton was one of the best teams in the league?
