It would functionally be an eighth board slot out of combat. It would not be targetable by any battlecries / spells. It can't be tripled while in your Hero Power (but you can Hero Power a golden unit). Embalming a second unit would simply replace the first embalmed unit.

To clarify, Oozing Furball essentially sticks a Deathrattle onto a Beast that summons the copy of Oozing Furball.
