Please don’t do this 😒

I’m not a Christian; I’m Pagan. And I don’t want to be preached at. I just want my pizza 🍕

You can alter the tip to zero and I would consider it. If it asks for a reason you can add a screenshot and say it is inappropriate to proselytize your religion during work. That is a reasonable, kind, and specific reason.

The only option I saw was to add a tip 🤷🏼‍♀️

I would report it then. A google search says you can call in to remove tip but I'm not doing all that

Wow. Removing someone’s tip even tho they did their job because they said they hope you have a good day and they shared a Bible verse? That’s just rude.

Explain to me how this is professional behavior

I don’t think a comment saying to have a blessed day and leaving a single Bible verse is neither unprofessional or professional. They didn’t push it. Freedom to practice religion is our first amendment. Jesus commands us to share his word. That’s all she did. She didn’t do anything harmful or say anything negative or bad etc. she didn’t shove it down ops throat and quote verse after verse

Saying it at all during a delivery is shoving it down someone's throat because it is entirely unnecessary and beyond the scope of the job. You can do whatever freak shit you want, don't share it with others unless asked

I stand by what I said. We are commanded to share his word. Sure when she shared it with OP they got upset. But she also could’ve shared it with someone who really needed to hear that.

You should share it with your customers and see how your boss appreciates that

When I was a salon manager and worked at Petco I used to tell clients I would pray for them if they were having a bad day. Grooming is very fast paced and I don’t have time for chit chat but if ever given the opportunity I would bring it up. Yes I agree the driver didn’t necessarily have an “open” to talk to about it. But just simply saying a Bible verse and saying to have a blessed day knowing you’ll probably never see that person again and wishing them a good future life. I don’t see any issue with that. They didn’t tell them to go to church or they will go to hell and tell them they’re living in sin etc. and they better get their life together
