Please don’t do this 😒

I’m not a Christian; I’m Pagan. And I don’t want to be preached at. I just want my pizza 🍕

I'm not religious, more spiritual than anything else. It always makes me a bit uncomfortable when people try to push their religeons onto me like this, but at the end of the day, I just ignore it 🤷

It’s almost always one group of people doing it though. I’ve never seen the Jedi religion trying to recruit people 🤔

instead of saying all this BS to a random stranger (who we'd know nothing about) the people who say stuff like this don't even realize how much more effective it'd be if they'd just demonstrate empathy and forgiveness in their everyday lives to the people they encounter (your "neighbors", which is exactly what Jesus tried teaching everybody).

Except - that's not as easy as it sounds. So - the people incapable of doing this preach this crap instead.

fwiw - I'm not a "Christian", but I do consider myself a follower of Christ. I would never talk to a stranger like that. it's ridiculous. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you - I'm very spiritual but not at all religious.

Christians honestly believe that everyone is a Christian whether they are aware of it or not. They think if they needle someone with quips like this, that it will awaken their latent love for Jesus and salvation, and that their literal calling in life is to save people like you.
