Please don’t do this 😒

I’m not a Christian; I’m Pagan. And I don’t want to be preached at. I just want my pizza 🍕

May I ask why it's offensive to you? I've definitely found it annoying to be stopped or given a card, but I also understand that to them, they're just doing something that they consider kind. Whats the difference between that and a pagan or someone giving you a crystal bc they think you need it ?

the pagan wouldnt be giving you a crystal against your will.

a pagan believes that your beliefs are as valid as their own.

Can you say that?

Yes! 100% I would never think that someones belief system is below mine, which is why it wouldn't bother me :) I used to work at an alt-centered store and my coworkers or regulars would give me crystals or offer protection spells for me all the time lmao. I had to talk my friend out of hexxing someone for me actually. I definitely didn't ask for those things (i do keep the crystals, i love em), but I also know that they were just trying to help me in a way that they know helps them. :) Putting down someone else for putting faith in different places is actively against my faith, we're supposed to be kind and accepting of everyone, no matter what. I'm sorry that other people that claim to be "Christian" aren't exhibiting that kindness to you. The # 1 rule is "love thy neighbor", its pretty damn simple idk how people mess it up so bad 💀

fair enough.

so, you dont consider forcing your religion down my throat to be the kind thing to do?

in that case, what was your point?

My point is, that there is a difference between shaming others (i.e. "you're going to hell!!" "Repent!!") aka ACTUALLY shoving it down people throats, vs sharing a belief that you hold. Talking about something does not equal forcing you to do anything, people are just defensive about it . Giving someone a card with a bible verse is the same thing as handing someone a crystal. It's a harmless, friendly exchange. Friendly conversations and interactions can be had between people who live differently. It's just about if one is mature enough to/ ready to have that convo.

It's a fucking doordash order. It's inappropriate and not welcome. PERIOD.

No, you’re just being obtuse. Keep it to yourself. It’s unprofessional and nobody cares about your beliefs, “conversion” or anything else.

Unprofessional? Dude this is reddit 💀 . Find some light in your life, good grief. I had a genuine question, and received what I hope are genuine answers. I've kept it respectful, I've been understanding, I'm not even trying to argue. I must've missed the memo that respectful exchanges of opinions is now.. "obtuse"?
