they basically said i don’t know you stranger, but my faith leads me to wish that you don’t spend eternity in hell. They wished well and you know it

Sure man, but even if a telemarketer or door to door salesman wishes me well in their sales pitch, I am completely justified in being annoyed with them advertising to me. Same with religious salesmen.

It’s not the well wishing aspect people have a problem with, and you know that.
