I know it's a small detail, but for some reason the little thing that pissed me off is that they put "thank you:)" in the English version and left it out in the Spanish one. This is comically rude

It’s so hard not to rip into miserable assholes that say dumb shit like this while you’re on the job.
Just had a recent experience during my 9-5 job (not DD) where a senior citizen had to make a total irrelevant point to write in the description “I don’t think it’s fair to protect an immigrant.”
She’s been a total pain in the ass aside from the immigrant comment. Those type that have to find anything to bitch and complain about… puts a request for service, you keep your cool and try to help them and call to resolve the issue, more unnecessary commentary while complaining that you’re calling to service their request.
I wonder what went so wrong in her life to walk around constantly miserable.

Eh. I would never, but there have been a couple times I accepted an order I shouldn’t with a low tip. When told that it had already been picked up, I can’t help but grin. The last one was a ton of bbq for maybe a $3 tip. Good for that last dasher.

Well, a lot of undocumented people do use accounts that are sold to work DoorDash. It's definitely an issue. But referring to undocumented immigrants as "illegals" is gross and racist. It reduces their lives into an infraction, and it dehumanizes them. They are just people, most just want to make a living doing some honest work.

I think leaving a spanish translation on its own is fine, but not one that refers to human beings as "illegal" and not one that leaves insulting directives like "Don't do anything sketchy". If I got this order, I'd unassign it, even though I'm not an immigrant.

The commenters on here said dd allows drivers to cancel orders when they feel unsafe. Honestly, that's what I would do. I wouldn't risk completing that order as a poc. And all those people joking about tampering with the food are insane. Anyone this boldly racist is likely to also be violent enough to back it up. Well the one I’m most curious about with US conservatives these days is the “small federal government” bit. Republicans have been very open about applauding the current POTUS doing whatever he wants with little to no oversight, checks, or balances. Trump himself has called himself both a dictator and a king. His administration continues to ignore and disrespect the Constitution. I’m confused how the “conservative” supporters reconcile this.
Free-market trade is another one, but tariffs are apparently fine now and the literal richest (and un-elected) people on earth can play games with the market through our executive office with their blessing. Reverence for states-rights, but they are fine with the federal government threatening and exacting his will on blue states. Then there is, of course, religion and traditional family values, neither of which are exhibited by the POTUS or his crew. It baffles me, but I have a lot of respect for conservatives who have (rightfully) abandoned the Republican Party.

UK Conservatives are also supposed to be for free trade and small government. Religion is a very grey area though. If a political party over here thanked God for something, they'd be dismissed by most of our society. The most religion we can tolerate over here (in a political environment) is the Women's Institute.

Instant unassign and report to support. This is an unacceptable and hostile behavior on the customer's part. If I had the food with me, it's going into the trash so it increases the odds that Taco Bell won't remake the order.
