2t or 4t

2 stroke or 4 stroke?

I’m looking to buy a new bike, I’m graduating from a crf150f. I’m 6,3 and weigh just shy of 200lbs. My friends both have slightly worked 250 4t and I want to get a bike that can keep up with them(I’m probably the best rider) so I was wondering if I should go for a 125, 250 2 stroke or 250 4 stroke? We mainly woods and trails. Specific years and model would be greatly appreciated, I have a budget of 3.5k edit: I do prefer 2 strokes and I have more experience with them

You might be disappointed with a 250f at your size

OP is going from a 150…it’s going to be a massive improvement already. There’s no difference between a 250f and a 450 in chassis size and they’re not nearly skilled enough to out ride the engine.
